“Loud Hailers” a joint Youth and Adult production by Jan Bengree which focuses on the Suffragette Mary Phillips ‘flour-bombing’ the Prime Minister, Herbert Asquith, on his way from Ireland to visit Lord Lever. After considerable research, Jan Bengree has woven a fictional memory drama creating an array of characters whom she has imagined could have been present. “Loud Hailers” will be performed on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th November in the Salisbury Studio at 7.45.
