Look Back in Anger
by John Osborne
First produced in 1956 at the Royal Court Theatre. Famous for spawning the “angry young man”, this powerful drama is
a break from comfortable drawing room plays, presenting realism and marital controversy between an intelligent,
educated but disaffected young man from a working class background and his long-suffering middle-class wife.
(Some cigarette smoking on stage.)
This amateur production of Look Back in Anger is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, LTD.
