Arnold regularly hosts the meetings of a group of hopeful writers of various genres. It’s just before Christmas and a
cold night threatening snow, so the turn-out is not very good, but the six who arrive share their work, which is greeted with
various levels of enthusiasm. The evening comes to an end and Arnold, like a good host, says good night and starts to
clear the coffee cups when, suddenly, he is in darkness. When the lights come on again, he is being threatened by a woman
with a knife …
